Pastor Kevin & Jodi McIlhany and family moved to the Ishpeming area in August of 2009 preparing to plant a new church. Kevin and Jodi have been married 19 year and have 6 children. Kevin is currently a student of Moody Bible Institute in a Masters of Ministry degree. Pastor Kevin’s undergraduate education was from Bethel College with a M.A. degree in Bible & Theology including studies at Wheaton College and Moody Bible Institute.

Pastor Kevin is an ordained minister of the Great Lakes Baptist Conference. Pastor Kevin enjoys ministry and was a youth pastor for 17 years and an outreach pastor for 3 years. For 2 years the McIlhanys have been raising up a team of people to pray for the new church plant and the support of the new ministry.

Woodworking and carpentry are a couple of the things Pastor Kevin enjoys. Hunting and fishing are also Pastor Kevin’s and kids hobbies. Jodi enjoys horseback riding and cooking. The McIlhany family enjoys hospitality at their home, hobby farming, music and camping.
